The World in Truth

about

This song captures a period of emotional turmoil, the journey though, and the moments of clarity in between.

lyrics

Lost in the forest I lay dying
Listening to the sounds of the rain crying
I heard her through the deafening noise, the muffled
whispers her torn voice

Her drifting fragrance touched my mind
Her laughter rang through the trees, her touch kind
The doors opened cracking with rust
The walls crumbled to dust

By azure water and the flow
Of the river these streams they grow
Into night a dark hue the world in truth

This expanse of blue fades into light
Empty space seems full to my timid eye
Lying flat on tar the smell of grass
A window opens to my stone heart

A place so true it blinds the sun
Her touch burns you turn to run
The light this colour seeping through my sepia veins
Her warm hands lay claim

By azure water and the flow
Of the river these streams they grow
Into night a dark hue the world in truth
